Full Description (Required)
Integrity Nursing Services Unlimited, Inc. established in 2006, is committed to providing support to the elderly so that they may live dignified, meaningful, and engaged lives in the community and to maintain their independence for as long as possible. We currently provide an array of medical services that enable seniors to remain in their homes for as long as possible. Through additional support we hope to expand our current efforts by implementing services that include but are not limited to: • Access services such as transportation, case management, community information and assistance; • In-home services (additional to our current medical care) such as personal care, chore, and homemaker assistance; and • Community services such as legal services, mental health services, and adult day care. There are three principle reasons that Integrity seeks to expand are:  The number of older adults who need some type of assistance is increasing exponentially.  Longer life expectancies, greater financial need, health care costs, and isolation from family members have exacerbated the problem. Many older adults require assistance with the basic necessities of life.  Our empathy for those who struggled all of their lives to provide for their families, but, because of advancing age and related factors, could no longer properly care for themselves and their spouses. This program would also assist us in development of multi-purpose senior centers that coordinate and integrate services for the older adults such as congregate meals, community education, health screening, exercise/health promotion programs and transportation.
