HISTORY: Biz Qube (BQ) is the result of being in the R&D business for over 40 years and finding better ways of shortening the R&D cycle, thus improving the chances of success and survival for new products and start-up businesses. We have designed several practical, much-needed and “humanitarian” products based on a “Benevolent Foresight” mentality. These products have gone through initial R&D in the last years; some are patented and are 60-80 percent developed. All of these promising products are ready for final R&D, tooling and manufacturing.

VISION STATEMENT: BQ to inventors, entrepreneur and their support team is like Henry Ford’s “Assembly Line” that revolutionized the auto and manufacturing industry forever. BQ is for inventors, entrepreneurs and businessmen who are ready to “Plug In” to the full service, fully equipped, staffed and interactive business & technology incubator. BQ develops and nourishes new ideas, technologies and businesses to become “Economic Growth Generators” (EGGs).

BQ combines the pioneering spirit of entrepreneurs with the know-how resources of established businesses and experienced team members to create and support new EGGs (both on-site and online) throughout their incubation, growth and maturity. RE-INVENTING THE INNOVATION PROCESS!

Inventors, entrepreneurs and pioneers are the backbone of our economy. Their ingenuity and hard work have created all of our modern conveniences. However, like fertile eggs, new ideas and start up businesses need a nourishing environment to hatch, grow and mature. Conventional incubators are for small and mostly hi-tech start-ups such as dot-com companies. Tenants pay $5-15 per sq. ft, for annual rent and limited support. For each dot-com start-up however, there are hundreds of other product-based companies that are waiting to be born and develop. For product development, these pioneers have to buy their own equipment and learn the unknown technologies the hard way. Valuable time is wasted in searching for outside personnel or services. Tenants depend on the mercy and busy schedules (and intellectual security risks) of unknown contractors while patiently and blindly waiting for weeks or months, for the finished parts (correct or not). For any additional modification, the wait-and-see cycle is often repeated.

In contrast, Biz Qube is an efficient, win-win and Full Service incubator, operating in a “Franchise-Like” atmosphere, combining the support team of many disciplines to work for a common purpose of helping each other to succeed. BQ is a Mastermind Alliance Invention Factory, a Think Tank and Hot House for developing inventions and starting new businesses. EGGs will be assigned incubation spaces (part/full time) as a Hot Desk, shared by many in 3 shifts. BQ incubators vary in sizes, utilizing: furniture, phone, computers, software, printers, e Mail account, web hosting, conference, lunchroom, secretarial, management, R&D, business planning, fund raising, training, manufacturing, warehousing, marketing and resident legal and patent staffs. Projects are developed “concurrently” between team members. EGGs can start their business in a nurturing environment and can offer their services to other EGGs or outside clients for cash or bartering. BQ also has a fully staffed Daycare and a Mini-Incubator for Young Inventors & Entrepreneurs. A “Funtivity Center” including pool and gym is designed and staffed in an adjacent building for BQ tenants and their family members.

The project is evolving in two phases; GreenTek R&D, (GTRD) is the first phase entity, currently a registered corporation in Oregon, operating by Ab Mobasher and Diana Wesley since 2009. (GTRD) is a proven and successful virtual incubator with many satisfied global clients, given great reviews for developing new products through elance (www.elance.com/s/abmoasher).

We look forward to having a physical R&D facility in a traditional office-warehouse building measuring 15-20,000 sq. ft. and with a staff of 47. Partly designed as shared incubator space for 30+ new start-ups. We will finalize development of our product line for added revenues. We will further finish planning and construction of Biz Qube, our ultimate incubator. A carefully custom-designed, 5-story, functional, 270,000 sq. ft. office-warehouse combination providing full service management, R&D and incubator space for 100+ new EGGs. Biz Qube will be built in suitable location(s) depending on funding.

Capital Use Schedule (3 Years). (GTRD-BQ) funding schedule summary is based on the following assumptions:

• Rental, equipment, salaries and setting up the GreenTEk R&D facility
• Final planning of our own, “Full Featured Business-Technology Incubator” building of Biz Qube, purchasing the land, building construction.
• Employment of staff for BQ (500 or more), purchasing and setting up equipment, labs and workshops.
