Because of the many rivers, lakes, creeks and ocean waters in Pacific County, many traffic accidents end up in the water. We want to equip all county emergency police vehicles with water rescue kits. The kits will include tethered flotation devices and other life-saving equipment needed to extract a victim from the water and administer first responder assistance.
Funding Needed
$50k-$100k
Funding Purpose
Purchase a water rescue kit for the trunk of every police car in Pacific County. None exist now and this has been the cause of loss of life.
