Full Description (Required)
I have completed the rough draft of the plans for a free energy generator I have been thinking of for about for over a year now. I believe this type design using two magnetic principles would power a home/building/vehicle without the need for fuel and would run 100's of years, requiring only a very slight adjustment every 20 - 40 years to fine tune the Hz. The design is completely electro-mechanical with no electronic components that could fail. This generator will use a unique coil design in conjunction with alternating magnetic directional fields to produce AC current, and would… • Require zero fuel • Be extremely reliable • Be scalable • Be completely frictionless • Be virtually silent • Be impervious to EMP • Require no maintenance other than a very slight adjustment every 20 - 40 years to adjust Hz. For North America (other voltages and Hz could be configured for other countries) a 110/220 VAC generator would have (2) 110 VAC outputs, L1 and L2 (phased 180 degrees). Ground and Neutral would come from the main breaker panel. The Drive Section would use neodymium magnets (homo-polar) incorporating magnetic shielding (probably bismuth and/or MU metal), relatively small and light compared with a standard generator of compatible kW. The exterior shell could be a standard size (31") ridged tire cover. First thoughts of building a prototype would require about 45 lbs. of 10AWG magnet wire and (168) 2"x1"x0.5" and (48) 1"x1"x0.5" neodymium magnets for the coil/current induction section. The drive section would require less neodymium magnets. The number of magnets for the drive section are unknown at this point, but the amount of force to rotate the current induction magnet assembly to 300 RPM would be required. There are two main sections, the "Drive Section" uses a Perendev type magnet motor design to generate motion (rotation), one of the keys to making this type design work is the use of magnetic shielding on magnetic leading surfaces, another key is offsetting the homo-polar fields, the other primary section, the "Current Induction Section", is where the electrical current is generated using simple magnetic induction (Fleming's right hand rule explains), this design has a few unique features, one is that a rotating magnetic torus with oscillating/alternating magnetic directional fields inducing current on a stationary torus shaped coil with corresponding alternating directional windings. One of the beautiful aspects of the design is the simplicity and that the design allows 180 degree phasing (single phase double pole) from the same coil conductors. It would be much easier to explain using a white board and interactive conversation. The plan is to build a proof of concept design, evaluate the performance of the proof of concept design, then scale the components to build a prototype to achieve 110/220 VAC 60Hz and at least 160 Amps to supply a standard 200 Amp residential service (Using best practices, the load on a 200 Amp service should not to exceed 80% of circuit breaker rating)
Funding Needed
Under $25k
Funding Purpose
I do not have the funds/resources to develop and I would love to see this generator eventually go into production, I would also like to open source the plans so others could build and continuously develop as I believe this type design has many potential applications.
