Full Description (Required)
It has been a reality that most start-up businesses fail during the first two years of existence, due to lack of the necessary knowledge on general business practices, marketing sales, management etc.
A great technical knowledge does not automatically guarantee entrepreneurial success.
The purpose of the incubator is to offer education and support for aspiring entrepreneurs desiring to start their own business based on existing professional skills. The incubator would offer a two-year program during which the entrepreneurs will have to start their business in the assigned location at the incubator, attend a series of courses on all aspects of business management, employee management, accounting, computer, legal, licensing, marketing, continuing and all other business skills needed to assure realistic chances of success. A complete business plan has been prepared.
Educational resources will be acquired through local community colleges, SCORE, government educational programs, retired executives, business coaches, etc.
The plan is to offer twenty new entrepreneurs every two years the opportunity to start their own enterprises, creating employment for others and helping people get out of the rather insecure employment cycle in the present economic conditions.
