Rescue unwanted, abused, abandoned horses for rehabilitation and possible future placement with permanent homes. Possible temporary housing for animals whose owners have lost income/homes and cannot keep them but would like them back at a future date (possibly helping with stall upkeep, grooming, etc. so that the regular staff can care for the other horses. Future may include linking healthy and appropriate horses with children from Child Protective Services to benefit the children and the horses.

$100k-$500k

Find or lease property with onsite living quarters so caregivers are available at any time. Set up barn for quarantine of new horses, set up health facility for veterinary visits, proper feed, grain, medicines and water. Proper fencing for pastured areas.
